Gorgeous Strands Natural Hair Salon is growing and looking for talented natural hair professionals to join our team!

We’re located in the Energy Corridor of Houston, TX and specialize in natural hair care, protective styles, and healthy hair maintenance for clients ages 10 and up. Our salon is a calm, modern space where clients can relax, catch up on their favorite TV shows, enjoy snacks and refreshments, and feel at home while getting expert care for their curls, coils, and kinks.

At Gorgeous Strands, we focus on creating a safe, inclusive, and professional space for both clients and stylists. Whether you're a seasoned natural hair stylist, a creative colorist, or a growing professional passionate about healthy hair journeys, we want to hear from you.

💼 Position Options:

• Full-Time Booth Rental (Ideal for established stylists with a strong clientele)

• Commission-Based Stylist (Great for stylists building clientele with salon support)

• Bonus 15% commission on retail products

✅ Stylist Requirements:

• Texas Cosmetology License (current & valid)

• Passion for natural hair care and healthy hair education

• Experience with twist-outs, braid-outs, rod sets, and protective styles

• Color services a plus (highly preferred for colorist role)

• Organized, timely, self-motivated, and professional

• Comfortable working independently or as part of a stylist team

• No chemical straightening or curl-altering services

• Must have (or be building) a social media presence showcasing your work

• Must LOVE working with natural textures and providing a top-tier client experience

🌟 Commission Stylist Bonus:

• Clientele is a plus, but not required

• Willingness to learn and grow in the natural hair space
